UN secretary-general: Putin meeting ‘very useful’

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres claimed in a new interview that his assembly with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow this week was “very useful” as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine stretches into its 3rd thirty day period.

“I imagine it was a very useful conference,” Guterres advised CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “First of all … it was attainable to inform President Putin the exact same points I say in New York or I’ll be in a position to say listed here in Kyiv, which implies that the Russian invasion is against the charter of the United Nations, is a violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and that this war should conclude as swiftly as attainable.”
